Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976. Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actress for over twenty years. She has a number of soap opera roles, including Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition, she played the recurring character of Daphne on the second series of the HBO drama True Blood. Ashley Jones obtained a Bachelor of Human Learning (K-8) from University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her teaching career as a teacher of Reading in the Kindergarten class and also the 1st grade in Maury County. Following her wedding to the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she moved to Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she taught and earn her Master of Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from the classroom when the family welcomed their son Baylor into their family in the year 2000. Ashley's last 15-year focus has been on growing children in her church as well as the local community. Additionally, she has served in various roles. Ashley has been an educator and leader in Thompson Station Church's Preschool and Student Ministry for 13 years. Ashley taught her children at home for three years when she was away at home. Ashley and her children taught history to kindergarteners as well as the first graders in a homeschool tutorial. God advised her that although she loved doing her homeschool and spending time in the presence of children, her family needed to return to school full time. Brent and Ashley each have five kids. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz All are GCA students. Baylor is an GCA student who plays baseball and attends UT-Martin. Callan is a GCA Graduate and attends Western Kentucky University. The family is very active. family that enjoys playing sports, fishing and hunting with their family.
