Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students as well as part-time employment. Lennox was able to make a change in her path in life when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience and lack of talent the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career as a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. This is where she first met Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva, which was released in 1992. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut independent album and a companion to her art work made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva with a number of successful tracks like Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album which was released in 1995, features versions of some of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Six studio albums of her own as well as a compilation album at her disposal.
